The 1962 LaFrance pumper was received in October 1962 and joined the Victoria Fire Department as Pumper 1 which ran out of # 1 Fire Station on Yates street. After 25 years, it was taken out of service. In the early 1990s, it was converted into a hose truck. Its orginal hose body was altered for larger diameter hose, and two Deluge units were mounted above the pump panel. Later, the pumper was transfered to the Historical Society for parades and public events.
